At Tom F. Mihok Optometry, we strive to meet all of your eye and vision care needs. Whether you are a new contact lens wearer or a previous contact lens wearer, our optometrists will fit you with the right lens for you and your lifestyle. Our highly skilled optometrists will perform a comprehensive eye exam in which they will evaluate your cornea in order to prescribe the best contact lens fit for your eyes. If you have an interest in contact lenses please schedule an appointment today by calling (209) 847-3051.
Prior to prescribing contact lenses Dr. Mihok and Dr. Martinez perform a thorough evalution of your eyes. During this evaluation they will use different instruments to measure your corneal curvature, refractive error, and screen for any eye conditions that may affect your contact lens fitting. To schedule an evaluation with one of our knowledgeable optometrist please call our office today.
After determining your prescription, Dr. Mihok and Dr. Martinez will work with you to determine whether contact lenses are the right choice for you and your lifestyle. Although certain conditions can make contact lens fitting a contraindication, there are a variety of contact lens materials that allow people with dry eyes, allergies, and other conditions to wear contact lenses comfortably. Contact lenses are available in soft and rigid gas permeable form. Our optometrist also fit specialty contact lenses, such as bifocal contact lenses or monovision contact lenses.
Advances in contact lens technology have created great options for cosmetic lenses. Whether you have a refractive error or just want to change your eye color we would be happy to help you at Tom F. Mihok Optometry.
